Test Strategy and Test Plan的区别, 征集一下答案~
Pretty easy.
As we know that when it comes to the software testing methodology, usually, there're 3 steps for us to go through:
1.Creating the test strategy. This step should be the essential precondition for the following 2 steps as it's a must for a test team to analyze the requirement of clients, the resource we need, and overall function of the objective software, furthermore, the relations among those factors above. Thereby, a blueprint should be drawn in advance. In short, the test strategy is more like a guideline or a principal for testers to follow in the 2nd step and the 3rd step.
2. Creating the test plan. This step should be done after the test strategy's established. Compared with the test strategy, a test plan seems to be more detail-oriented which means that it should be designed as an agenda or a schedule or a procedure, so to speak, for testers to follow in the 3rd step. For example, the setting of milestones, plans upon different function modules in the software, etc.
3. Executing the test. Once the first 2 steps are prepared enough, this step wouldn't cause so much chaos in the brains of testers. LOL
