Job description
Manage a young test team to work on GTS/MBPS software products, develop people, ensure and improve the product quality & process efficiency through testing automation, innovative approaches, and collaboration across teams.
- Responsible for delivering high quality products on schedule within budget, involve in development & execution of test plan, regular project reviews, management of dependencies, risks and issues, resolution of problems, etc.
- Keep tracking project process & progress across teams, continually improve the overall process to make the test and development work more effectively and efficiently, while influence worldwide project teams, and even other projects.
- Work together with worldwide counterparts, build trust and good relationship between the team and worldwide software development and test groups.
- Build collaborative and innovative climate in team, lead the team to pursue technical excellence, and contribute to IBM technical communities.
- Support GTS/MBPS and contribute to customer engagement and customer support when needed.
Required
• Master's Degree
• English: Fluent
• Chinese simplified: Fluent
Preferred
• Doctorate Degree
Additional information
- Rich work experience on leading testing team members and testing projects.
- Familiar with software development cycle, Agile process, testing process and methodology, and experience on IBM product development or testing
- Strong leadership in managing technical talents, including coaching, motivating, growing and retaining talents, and measuring individual job performance.
- Strong capability on decision making, problem analyzing and solving, conflict resolution, change management and risk taking.
- Good skills on collaboration, multi-tasking, time management,and resource management.
