Senior QA

Position Overview
TP SYSTEMS LTD. is a growing outsourcing and IT consulting firm, providing business solutions to both the private and public sector for over 25 years.

We are currently seeking a qualified and professional Senior QA with software and website testing expertise, to join our team in China.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Drive and lead on projects through test design and execution for website and community features
• Ensure complete coverage of project testing and regressions required to support a weekly release of website.
•Attend design reviews, creating and reviewing test plans, and ensuring that appropriate testing efforts are applied to new features.
• Training junior team members on testing and debugging practices.
• Document defects using a bug tracking database, performing verifications on fixes in multiple environments.
• Clearly documenting and/or communicating fix success, failures, and status updates, as appropriate.
• Support the deployment of code to the test environments and diagnosing problems from website and server logs.
• Live support of an online service
Skills and Experience
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of full life cycle software development process and software testing methodology.
• Knowledge of Auto testing software such as QTP
• Possesses a strong familiarity with standard design and functionality of web sites and web applications
• Strong communication skills and innovative thinking
• Formal software test experience in full life cycle development
• Experience creating full life cycle test plans
• Able to mentor junior members, give technical advice and direction, and provide hands-on management.
• Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.
• At least 4 years experience QA for a web site, at least 2 years in a Lead role.
• BS in Computer Science or related field
Desirable Skills
• Previous Website industry experience highly desirable
• Knowledge of performance and automation testing
• Knowledge of Perforce, Linux, SQL, HTML, TCP/IP and .Net, java, MS SQL, Oracle systems, with some programming experience in one of more of these areas
• Knowledge of data structures and database reporting techniques
• More experience in troubleshoot and analyst area
• Experience with Web application software testing
Education
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) – Desire

• 具有多年的软件测试和开发环境下的工作经验
• 能够管理初级软件测试人员的工作，给他们测试技术和技巧的指导，能够言传身教
• 熟悉各种软件测试技术
• 至少有3年的工作经验
• 计算机本科毕业

优先考虑的技能
• 之前最好有网站制作技术
• 有软件效率测试和自动测试的经验
• 具有Perforce, Linux, SQL, HTML, TCP/IP and .Net, java, MS SQL, Oracle 相关知识，有其中一些软件的编程经验
• 对数据库结构和数据库报告系统有操作经验
• 在软件问题分析和解决问题方面经验丰富
• 有基于网站的软件系统的测试经验
• 微软系统工程师认证
