Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

In this hands-on, technical position, the individual will be responsible for the integration, testing,
and release qualifications of the StarCite suite of products.

Participate in the entire test cycle, including: defining quality standards, creating test
plans, designing infrastructure tests, test tools, defect tracking, bug analysis, and product
quality reporting.
The individual will work closely with software development and IT professionals in a
distributed team setup to ensure successful deployments of upgrades and enhancements
on an on-going basis.
Handle multiple priorities, work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic

environment, and possess a high level of flexibility.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years in SQA and/or software development.

Extensive experience with black box, white box, performance, scalability testing, and test

automation (Java and Open Source tools desirable).

Expert in testing methodology, test cycles, test tools, and testing methodologies

Expert in automated test design, development

A strong commitment to standards in software quality.

Technical competency with SQL, HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript, Java, J2EE and

Apache is a plus.

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills a must.

Experience in working with distributed teams.

A BS in Computer Science or related field.
