JD OF Functional Test Specialist
Functional Test Specialist(5-7 ys)
Job Purpose       
∙        Responsible for designing and developing executable test cases/ scenario for verification of core banking applications
Main Accountabilities       
∙        Define and maintain a risk based testing framework
•        Determine test scope and coverage based on functions delivered
•        Design test cases to verify delivered functions
•        Manage test case development
•        Build a centrally managed test artifacts repository for certifying of core banking products
•        Supervise and Train testers on test execution procedures
•        Review test execution progress and identify opportunities for improvement
•        Manage test execution through 3rd party service vendors
Experience qualifications and other requirements specific to the role       
•        At least 5 years of Software testing experience in the Banking domain is an absolute must for this role
•        Must have done testing/ certification of projects in either Internet Banking or Back Office applications of any of the leading MNC Banks
•        Experience with Project Leading essential
Knowledge and Expertise (relating to specialist knowledge and expertise required to undertake the role. May include knowledge of the Bank’s products, services)       
•        Proficient in  Technical Writing is a requirement
•        Good understanding of all testing disciplines (i.e. Unit, SIT, UAT, Automated, Performance, etc)
•        Good understanding of SDLC methodology and processes
•        Good domain knowledge with in Software Testing and/or Certification of Core Banking applications is essential
•        Understanding of best practices in J2EE, JMS, MQ development would be beneficial
•        Good English spoken and written skills

JD OF Technical Tester (Batch)
Technical Test Tester –(Batch)
Job Purpose       
∙        Responsible for managing/participating in setting up, running and monitoring of batch jobs in TWS during certification/ component integration test, focusing on completeness, accuracy and performance of batch runs.
Main Accountabilities       
•        Coordinate with data centre and application teams to define batch schedule & monitoring approach for CIT
•        Setup batch schedule in TWS
•        Liaise with DC Ops to monitor batch runs
•        Review performance of batch runs (i.e. time taken, resource utilized)
•        Review batch abends and liaise with Product Support teams on resolution of issue(s)
•        Monitor and Track resolution of batch defects
•        Analyze historical results on batch jobs to identify and escalate concerning trends
Experience qualifications and other requirements specific to the role       
•        At least 3-5 years in Data Centre Operations, preferably in the Banking or Financial related domain, is an absolute must for this role
•        Must have experience in setting up jobs in TWS
•        Experience defect/ issue monitoring and tracking is required
•        Experience with Project Management/ Leading is desirable for lead role
•        Experience in analysis and tuning of batch jobs is desirable for lead role
Knowledge and Expertise (relating to specialist knowledge and expertise required to undertake the role. May include knowledge of the Bank’s products, services)       
•        Good understanding of TWS
•        Good understanding of data centre batch operation procedures and monitoring
•        Good understanding of project management and service delivery processes
•        Good English spoken and written skills
•        Understanding of defect tracking and management is expected
•        Understanding of testing disciplines (i.e. Unit, SIT, UAT, Automated, Performance, etc)
•        Understanding of SDLC methodology and processes
•        Technical Writing ability is desirable
