Role, Responsibilities and Person Specification

Role Senior Software Tester
Unit BT Design
Reports to Project Manager, BT Technology (Dalian) Company Ltd
Location Dalian, China

Key Purpose of the Role:

The role holder is responsible for creating and implementing test plans for software during the development phase. Testing includes functional testing, unit testing, and load testing. He/she will generate test scripts and bug reports as necessary.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Generate and run tests and test scripts according to project requirements
• Test applications on multiple levels (unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing)
• Understand and apply BT design philosophy, include agile development methodology, reusable component architecture, and platforms

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in software testing
• Experience with Mercury test suite and/or Open STA preferred
• University degree in software engineering or related field
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Humble attitude and excellent ability to work well with others
