Position Summary

This position utilizes knowledge of business processes and policies as well as various data sources and operational processing systems to design and program different Credit Card/Lending product strategies, and conduct system testing and production monitoring and controls in BRMS (Business Rule Management System – Decision Engine). Ensure the business decision rules and policies are implemented correctly and efficiently in the production environment. Participate in innovation and process enhancement to improve the overall efficiency. The analyst may support different function of Credit Card and Lending division.  

Key Responsibilities  

·      Develop and implement an end-to-end production environment controls framework including critical points of failure, metrics for alert triggering, communication methodology, etc.
·      Analyze project requirements documentation and work with business partners to ensure requirements are clear and complete.
·      Design and develop rules based on requirements in Decision Engine.
·      Identify inconsistencies between existing policies and new strategies. Incorporate new requirements into existing designs and processes.
·      Develop testing methodology by translating individual requirements provided in project documents into individual test cases.
·      Participant various testing phases, execute test plans and test cases in Decision Engine, and deliver high quality of testing results and reports.
·      Identify, troubleshoot and track defects and resolve them with business partners.
·      Maintain project documentation to facilitate strategy tracking and test/control analysis.
·      Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of existing test processes.
·      Develop automation tools to reduce testing cycle time.  

Education & Experience Requirements

•  University graduate | Bachelor degree or above in computer related fields, independent thinking ability, good logic and problem solving skills;
•  Prefer 2+ years related working experience.

Skill & Competency Requirements  

·         Related experience in the area of computer science. Software developing, software testing and system monitoring and control in Credit Card or Banking system will be a plus. Experience with Blaze Decision Engine will be double plus;
·         Preferred people with Java, SAS, VBA, SQL, Unix K-shell technical skills and experience;
·         Strong familiarity with SDLC, Object - Oriented Programming and technical testing concepts (e.g. requirements gathering, design, coding, unit, system, regression testing, etc). Familiarity with Agile process will be a plus;
·         Strong familiarity with production implementation process;
·         Passionate in technical problems solving and innovation;
·         Ability to work in a fast paced environment working with multiple products;
·         Good interpersonal skill and fluent English communication;
·         Interested in credit card and financial service industry.
