Software Test Automation Engineers
Global Technology Management Group (GTMG) is an international software development consulting firm providing software design, development, and project management services to leading American high-tech companies.  Due to our growing business needs we are expanding our Beijing development office.  

Job Description
The Software Test Engineer works in our Beijing consulting group as part of an international software development team to test new software built for a major e-commerce web site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•        Analyze the functional specifications and the software itself, and develop test plans and test scripts.
•        Design and write scripts for performance and load testing.
•        Create automated tests using various open-source or commercial testing tools.
•        Write reports analyzing the results of performance and load testing in well-written English.
•        Perform black box testing as part of a testing team.
•        Use the client’s defect tracking system.
•        Work with our client’s test leaders, program managers and developers.
•        Achieve the client’s goals and bring success to our clients and our entire team.

Requirements
•        1+ years experience working in software testing.
•        1+ years programming experience (Java or C++ preferred)
•        1+ years experience directly reading/writing HTML.
•        Read, write, and understand technical documents in English, speak and write English moderately well, and work effectively in a bilingual environment.
•        Strong problem solving ability and debugging skills.
•        Familiarity with defect tracking tools and techniques.
•        Understanding of the software engineering process.
•        Can-do attitude.
•        Ability to work independently.
•        Honest and trustworthy person.
•        BA or BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Highly Desired Experience
•        Experience with JUnit and related unit-testing frameworks.
•        Experience with web site functional and load testing.
•        Experience with automated software testing tools (WinRunner, TestComplete, or open source preferred).
•        Experience with SOAP.
•        Experience with XML.
•        Familiarity with software metrics and statistical sofware quality assurance.
