Morningstar’s Advisor SBU is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Shenzhen. This person will help develop new and exciting products in the financial market for both private and professional investors. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detailed-oriented, work well independently, and be able to handle multiple tasks.

Qualified Candidates Must Possess:
•        Strong quantitative skills and excellent attention to detail
•        Solid knowledge of the entire software development lifecycle
•        Working knowledge of Operating Systems, Browser Versions and web-related software.
•        Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
•        Demonstrate self-motivation in an independent, fast-paced work environment
•        Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working with a team
•        Proactive problem-solving skills
•        Knowledge of financial/investment industry a plus

Key Responsibilities
•        Complete testing projects and other QA tasks according to specified deadlines
•        Ability to create, modify, document and execute client-specific test plans
•        Execute manual, scenario-based testing on multiple platforms for the Advisor products
•        Effectively enter, update and Track defect data
•        Work closely with the Product Support team to track and monitor product defects
•        Coordinate with Project Management/Development team to resolve product issues
•        Ensure that product releases follow project management project specifications

Education Required:
•        4 year / Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related field
