In this position, you will be responsible for working as Software Engineer in PRC SQE (QA) team under Digital Home Group (Shanghai Zizhu). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for test and/or diagnostic software module development and debug
- Responsible for High Level Test Plan development
- Testing case execution and trouble shooting
- Responsible for documentation of developed software
- Improving performance and/or scalability of existing test modules and testing infrastructure
- Responsible for technical interface between developers, outsourcing vendors, and across Geo validation teams

Qualifications
You should possess a Master degree in Computer Science with at least three years working experience or a Bachelor degree with more than six years working experience on Steam Media development or QA validation. Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent SW development, debugging and testing and validation skills in C and/or C++ or ASM*
- Be proficient in Linux* and shell* development
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience on video (H264, MPEG2, VC1), or audio (MP3, AAC, AC3), or Graphics and/or Display development or validation experience
- Knowledge of bus protocols such as I2C, GPIO, SPI, PCI E, NIC, SATA, USB, and SMBUS
- Good problem analysis and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated self-motivated and capable to work independently as well as within a diverse multi-geographic team
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin
- Experience in Intel� Architecture and IA based embedded diver development or validation would be an added advantage
