Responsibilities:

Work with a team of Quality Assurance Engineers, balancing long and short term priorities such as:
    • Testing of ESX Server Security test cases.
    • Test automation.
    • Coverage improvement.
    • Tools development.
    • Metrics and status reporting.
    • System level test case design.
    • System level test plan writing.
Work in a QA team to accomplish end-to-end testing of an entire product


Requirements:

   • 3 + years working as a member in a high performing system test team.
   • In depth knowledge of Kernel Security.
   • Understanding of network security, firewalls, network stacks and network. protocols
     such as IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP.  
   • Understanding of security testing and different tools used, like ettercap, wireshark,   
      sslmitm.
   • Understanding of SSL3.
   • Experience with fuzzing
   • SOAP protocol or in depth Web server knowledge.
   • Familiarity of memory hardening techniques such as   ASLR, NX, and read-only code
     pages.
   • Ability to identify Open Source Software vulnerabilities.
   • Knowledge of client server architectures and should be able to analyze the   
     communication happening between client and servers.
   • Strong Linux operating system knowledge.
   • Possess good knowledge in Windows/Linux OS administration, networking protocols
     and modern File systems (including file / user permissions).
   • At least 2 years of experience in writing scripts (shell, Perl, Python, etc.) for test case
     automation and framework automation.
   • Minimum 2 years of programming experience with C, C++ or Java.
   • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a top tier school, MS a plus.
   • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
   • VMware experience a plus.
