This position will have primary technical responsibility for design specifications, code implementation and software quality for the Avistar ODC Java development team at Worksoft Beijing.  He/she will collaborate with Avistar system architects and product managers in the US to translate product requirements and high level system designs into detailed designs and work structures for the team.  This person will also be directly responsible for coding and unit test of key portions of the designs.



Core requirements:

-          5+ years of enterprise software development experience

-          Thorough working knowledge of the C++ programming language and development environment

-          Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership for software development teams



Additional desirable qualifications:

-          Project management experience

-          Good English verbal and written communications



Candidates should have technical expertise in at least several of the following areas:

-          SIP, SDP, H.323

-          RTP, SRTP

-          TCP/UDP, Sockets

-          XML, SOAP

-          Web Services

-          Digital Media Codecs

-          Direct X

-          GUI

-          API development

Responsibilities include specification, design, implementation and unit test of software in C++ in a windows environment.  The candidate must be able to translate high level requirements and system designs into implementation.



Core requirements:

-          A minimum of 4 years of enterprise software development experience

-          C++ programming language expertise

-          Familiarity with Object Oriented Design & Development practices

-          Working knowledge of asynchronous, distributed systems and applications

-          Technical experience with network protocols

-          History of developing for Windows OS

-          A record of delivering high quality code on schedule and to specification



Additional desirable qualifications:

-          Good English verbal and written communications

-          Working knowledge of digital media technologies



Candidates should have technical expertise in at least several of the following areas:
