Pursuing quality of all SUSE products is one of our core beliefs. The SUSE Quality Assurance department is distributed across the major engineering locations in Germany, the Czech Republic and China. We work in collaboration across teams and the SUSE organization. Together we demand highest quality SUSE Linux products.

The team is located in Beijing, People Republic of China, named QA APAC II. This QA Engineer position is mostly a development role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining automation tools and scripts as well as analyzing and debugging issues reported against test infrastructure, tools and test cases. You will work along with other QA engineers, product leaders and developers to fulfill these responsibilities.

Job Location:
Beijing office, China

What you will do:
- Working on SUSE Linux OS
- Design, develop and deploy QA automation tools, frameworks, packages
- Maintain and improve the existed QA tools, scripts, testcases
- Handle and fix the reported issues for the automations with the across teams
- Implement automation for projects and softwares
- Chance working on Agile mode
- Documentations

We are looking for:
- Experience on Automation tool design and development
- Deep and broad Linux knowledge
- Strong dedication to Quality
- Programming skills
- Proficient in one or more programming language (preferred C/C++)
- Proficient in one or more scripting language (preferred Perl, Bash, Python)
- Understanding of the open source development model
- Quick at learning and understanding new products and technologies.
- Good capabilities on self-planning and management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a global team across time zones.
- Good communication skills (English)
