Symbio will test for functionality, localization interoperability and compatibility issues, with the localization engineer on each team capable of fixing UI issues that are discovered.
1. Follow test scripts correctly;
2. Follow DTS guideline strictly, make sure log each bug correctly and update bug status in timely manner;
3. Escalate issues met during projects to QA team leader in time;
4. Summarize and Submit technique document to knowledge base.

Visual user interface testing.
Test scripts help to guide the software testers through the software. This ensures that all dialogs, menus, and strings are displayed, compared against the domestic product and are visually correct.

Automated Testing
Execute automated test scripts that check for functional issues that may have been introduced during the localization process.

Functional Testing.
Functional testing checks that the core functional capabilities of the software and help have not been compromised or broken during the localization process. The test engineers utilizing product specific test scripts, which enable the testers to access all areas of the software and help, perform this task.

Linguistic Testing, (if required will be determined at a later date).
This function is performed by translators and software engineers to validate the product by testing the menu items and dialog text in the software as well as verifying that the translation of software items and the help is consistent with the software.

Bug reporting
The localization QA team will report all defects to the defect tracking system; all defects reported will be regressed, once fixed by the localization engineer. The localization QA lead will escalate any issues immediately to the FileNet QA contact for issues, which cannot be resolved by Symbio.

1. Good standard of spoken and written English;
2. Familiar with basic knowledge of Windows, Unix;
3. Basic knowledge on SW testing, with testing experiences/JAVA programming experience is preferred;
4. Be quick learning, have self-study ability;
