Day-to-day operation and delivery of SharePoint 2007 Administration. The candidate must be familiar with implementation, usage, troubleshooting, tuning and monitoring of SharePoint 2007 / Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). Additionally have working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008), Windows Server 2003/2008, and IIS Web servers. The candidate will be expected to work with teams of system administrators, DBAs, application developers/designers and support staff through the design, implementation and operation.
? Other responsibilities include:
o Providing individual and lead support for small to complex Farm installations;
o Designing Farm installations, features, services and backups needed to support the needs of our customers;
Candidate Profile:
Basic Requirements:
? SharePoint 2007 / Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 troubleshooting experience;
? Windows Server 2003/2008, and IIS Web server troubleshooting experience;
? Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008);
? Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interfacing daily with customers;
? The ability to manage multiple projects and requests at one time;
? Strong documentation and/or technical writing skills;
? Well spoken
? Ability to be on call
? Ability to work US Daytime for training
? 4-6 years relevant experiences
? Team work oriented
? College degree or equivalent work experience.
Advanced Skills:
? The ideal candidate will have production experience with highly-available web applications using:
? IIS with NLB;
? Windows 2003/2008;
? Active Directory;
? DNS;
? Knowledge of LAN/WAN components;
? TCP/IP Protocols;
? Basic development skills (.net, windows scripting, SharePoint designer, etc);
? SharePoint 2007 / MOSS certification a plus;
? Any additional Microsoft Certifications, such as MCSE, MCDBA, MCSA, MCP, etc and/or experience within an ITIL environment are a plus.
