Job Title: Linux Administrator for DB2  
Hiring No. : 1  
  
Job Responsibilities:  
The candicate will work in the System Administration team to support the internal and external Linux servers on testing functionality of DB2.  
1. Install, configure and maintain Linux server operating system;  
2. Monitor servers for capacity or other problems;  
3. Develop and test backup and recovery strategies for the Linux servers;  
4. Write script for application of batches.  
  
Job Requirements (skills/experiences):  
1. Familiar with setting up and configuring RHEL and SLES system;  
2. Strong Shell/Perl programming skills;   
3. Experienced in setting up services like FTP,Samba and NFS;   
4. Experience with DB2/Clearcase/Clearquest/TSA is a plus;  
5. Can work at least 6 months and 3 working days per week.  
  
Qualifications (Education/Major/Certificates)  
1. Master degree major in Computer Science or related( at least cet-4);   
2. Excellent communication skill, self-motivated team player, quick learner
