Responsibilities：
Planning and performing manual and functional tests
• Writing QA documents (MTP, STP, ATP etc.)
• Investigating detected defects deeply
• Risk analysis
• Automated testing – if applicable
• Weekly status reporting
• Providing professional support on I18N, L10N issues through the deployment process
Requirements：
• At least 2 years of experience as QA engineer
• Solid understanding of technology and its implementation for business use
• Strong understanding of software development process
• Excellent data analysis, analytical and reporting design skills
• Good knowledge of PC HW, OS (Windows) and MS Office tools
• Knowledge of Web Server, Web applications, MS SQL - An advantage

Description:
Focus on HP OpenView OVCM Automation Testing
Responsibilities:
Primary deliverables:
- Generate Automation test plan and test cases
- Use automation tool or automation script for product testing
- Set up test environments on Windows/Unix for conducting product testing
- Perform testing based on the plan and case
- Defect tracking and verification
- Communication with R&D team for testing (in English)
Skills:
The engineer must have the following skills
- Strong team player and quick learner
- Good English and strong communication skills
- Automation testing experience of over 2 years
- Good knowledge on test automation/automation tools

It is a portable large-scale 2-tier enterprise software product used by Fortune 100 companies world-wide, both the front end and back end are written in C++ and Java and support Windows, HPUX, Solaris, AIX and Linux. Technologies used include WPP, XML, LDAP, Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
This position involves deeply in the product R&D and collaboration with development team, performs both automation test and manually tests.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree or above in computer-related diploma
