  QA test Engineer

Job description:  
a. Ensure testing effectiveness and efficiency, software development to support internal processes and tools; life cycle design, software configuration management, identification of software quality assurance quality metrics
b. Troubleshooting core software defects, diagnosis and identification of installation and/or network configuration errors
c. Tool evaluation
d. Automated test case and test suite planning, creation and maintenance
e. Supporting other members of the QA Test/ Support team as required
f. Adding value to the process by participating in the development and requirements-gathering phases of both new and ongoing projects
g. Training other employees to support product release
  
Job requirement:
Degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent industry experience preferred
Experience of GUI testing using automated testing tools—e.g. Robot
3.  Automated performance testing of bespoke distributed networked solution
4.  Minimum 2 years experience as a quality assurance engineer or a s a developer in planning and executing test cycles
Demonstrated proficiency with Windows Server, SQL Server
A background in software and/or web development is very beneficial in this position
C++/C#/.NET/XML/HTML
Effective time management , communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated planning skills
Self motivated, responsive, Problem Solver
Team worker, but can work on own initiative
