Position: Web Test Engineer
Location: Shang Hai

Description:
Qualifications and experience
At least 2-3 years solid working experience (not part time / not internship) in a global web application development company or software development company
Degree in computer applications and/or related fields
Strong attention to detail
Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills
Excellent English comprehension, reading and speaking ability
Comprehensive knowledge of test execution process including:
• Specification review
• Developing a test case based on specifications
• Testing using manual and (where applicable) scripted testing process (automated testing)
• Bug reporting using team-based applications such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Mantis etc.
• Review and recommend system modifications where applicable
Ability to drive quality through communication and detailed follow up processes
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and be flexible
Strong teamwork spirit, positive work attitude and high sense of responsibility

Skills and Capabilities
Knowledge of Content Management Systems and their application will be well regarded
Solid understanding of software / web application / website development processes and life-cycle
Strong knowledge of comprehensive test methodologies
Knowledge of Cross-Browser issues and how to test
Knowledge of W3C standards (bonus)
Knowledge of automation test and performance test (bonus)
Knowledge of SQA (bonus)
Ability to work to tight deadlines by tight time management and reporting
