EMC, a worldwide leader in information infrastructure, is seeking a Principal software engineer.  The candidate should have strong programming skills and systems, database or cloud computing expertise.  The candidate will have a passion for clean, platform-level UI and systems management work, the creation of clear APIs, evangelism of best practices and standards, and the ability to provide hands-on technical leadership to others on the team. Designing for richness, flexibility, preciseness, performance, reliability and scalability is critical.  Past experience in large scale Flex and/or J2EE application design and development is preferred.

You will be working on an R&D initiative to explore new system architecture and programming models in a virtual data center.  The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing and delivering database and/or cloud management system software.

Sr. Linux experience for 2-3 years.
Good troubleshooting and problem solving experience in Linux environment
Data Base experience.
Java/web service programming experience.
Black-box testing experience.
Functional testing, such as basic test methodology, test case design, test tool etc
