Telecom Test Lead
Location: Chengdu (China)
Job Description
1. Preparing the test plans.
2. Executing the test plans.
3. Storing the results in the data base.
4. Raising trouble tickets for failures.
5. Working through failures with support to resolution.
Skills
1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
2. 5+ years work experience with Hand-on experience in Telecom (Wireless Network) s/w testing.
3. Hands on experience in SGSN, preferably on Gs, Gr, Gd, Ge, Gn/Gp, Ga, S4, Gn, S3, Iu-ps/Gb interfaces is added advantage
4. Knowledge of GSM/GPRS networks
5. Knowledge on GPRS/3G emulators
6. 2G and 3G packet core network knowledge
7. Strong understanding in 3GPP specifications
8. Good knowledge on IP networking
9. Fluent English, and good communication skill
10. Hands-on experience in C
11. Working experience with Linux Operating system
12. Hands on experience in understanding the requirements and designing the test case framework for test automation andmanual testing
13. Good knowledge on any of the project lifecycle methodologies, agile knowledge is added advantage
14. Perform test design, test strategy and provide test estimations for both Manual and Automation testing.
15. Generate product expertise, answers questions for support, reviews documentation for multiple product areas. Independently follows up on issues and communicate status to management/Client in a timely manner
16. Good troubleshooting skills
