ys.Once I had experience in working with two kinds of automation framework.One is called"BPT"framework.The other is called"QTP"framework.Both of them connect QTP with QC.
     The full name for BPT framework is "Business processing testing",while it is a standard framework recommended by HP.Here the automation test case is organized by differnet components.That is to say,componnet is its smallest unit.For example,at that time,we tested about Oracle ERP application,as there are so many pages for the Oracle ERP application,so here one component means the functionality of each page.For this kind of framework,it is no need to make much script,it is quite suitable for those SME(subjet matter expert).We need to drag different components from "Business components"into Test Plan,while making a full automation testcase in Test Plan.Then we run a tool in Test Lab,a excel is generated in the root of C:\.After that ,we fill in the parameters in the excel and save the sheet .Ok,the test case can run in Test Lab.
      QTP framework is a customized framework,while it is designed by a foreign team.Just like its name,its test case is organized by different "Actions".For this kind of framework,people need to know more about programming,it is not suitable for those SMEs.A excel will be generated in the root of D:\,we also fill in the parameters there.
