Job Responsibilities:
  
Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests
Use white box and black box testing methods
Create test scopes, plans and test strategies
Write manual test cases/matrixes
Execute and maintain automation scripts
Report issues and create status reports
Work closely with Development team to isolate and resolve bugs/issues
Execute testing tasks and report status, escalate issues as appropriate
Coordinate and lead efforts for group testing on a project basis
Proactively escalate/solve problems, suggest process improvements.
Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk.
  
Job Requirements:

Must Have
Bachelor degree or equivalent required
3-5 years software QA experience in an E-Commerce environment
Competency in PL/SQL is required as well as a good understanding of related database
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Knowledge of Unix

Knowledge & Experience
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test documentation and project planning
Experience in Unix Scripting and XML
Experience in functional testing, regression testing, GUI testing and defect management
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites
Experience in white box/grey box testing
Automation experience using Mercury products
Good understanding /working knowledge of HTML and SQL

Perfer
Familiarity with Java, XML, ISAPI, HTML, XSL, JS and basic Windows/UNIX system administration desired.

Proposing and researching automation tools, scripts, and processes to improve functional testing
Involve in the new tool development, or enhancement of the existing tools the Automation Team owns
Creating scripts for new assigned features and on-going maintenance of scripts
Communicating effectively with developers, release management, and QA peers
Back-end/front-end testing as needed
Understanding complex framework fast and be able to contribute with development of new scripts           
  
Required Skills

Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent
3-5 years of hands on experience in software development or software testing, preferably in Java environment
Excellent communication skills in English
Java coding experience.

Knowledge and experience.
Experienced in QA and good understanding of QA methodology
Strong working knowledge of Perl, Html or XML, PL/SQL and Internet working experience

Prefer:
Working knowledge with Ruby is a plus
Working knowledge with automation tools, such as Selenium is definitely a plus
Java coding experience.

何为放鸽子？请版主说明。

我们碰到了很多人都不愿意做外包，但是，现在很多大的公司的业务都是外包，而且外包的趋势很厉害。现在很多兄弟姐妹是靠被外包的别的公司吃饭的。鄙视就不需要了吧。
此外，我不是外包公司，我客户是外包公司。

斑竹不是说鄙视被外包的人，是鄙视外包的这种用工方式，外包干了今天不知道明天，谁去干。
这个职位应该是把人外包到EBay工作吧...都招了n个月了，外包公司不是 hp-gdcc 就是什么 康卫实。

这位兄弟说得对，就是covansys。
其实我也不喜欢外包的工作方式，我有几个做IT的朋友我都尽量给弄到 regular employee了。可是现在很多工作都是外包的形式。没有办法。
偶也知道，对外包感兴趣的人很少。
