TESTING PRACTICE MANAGER
要求:10年以上工作经验,FOCUS在测试这块。 精通管理,管理经验至少要在4年以上。英文口语流利
技术:1.要对各种测试很精通;懂得整个测试的流程;
2.要熟悉至少2个大型的数据库系统:ORACLE,DB2等
3.会写技术文档
这个职位跟以往TEST MANAGER的区别:该职位做的不仅仅是TEST的项目管理/经理。而更类似于整个测试团队的部门经理。因此除了对以上的技术要很精通之外,候选人必须有以下几个经验:
1.BD拓展以及跟客户和本公司团队的沟通和协调(BD拓展不是必须的)
2.要有丰富的项目管理能力:对于整个项目的流程和进展很熟悉--安全管理/变更管理/项目管理/需求管理等
3.有招聘的经验:提出职位要求,面试等
I. Position Summary
Responsible for managing resource utilization, profitability as per defined targets
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal delivery teams and customer
Provide support to business development in existing and other accounts
Leads large, complex, and/or innovative testing projects
Good command over Testing Management, Test automation and Performance test tools
II. Key Result Areas
Generate formative evaluation strategies for each assigned project
Create and execute plans / achieve targets to ensure repeat business from existing accounts
Create winning proposals for customers
Ensure standards and methodologies adopted in the testing practice are best in class and meet client requirements
Select and use a variety of testing techniques to support delivery of diverse testing projects
Uses appropriate techniques to specify and sequence goals and objectives
Enhance Knowledge management through innovative KM models
People KRAs’: Manage utilization, employee satisfaction, performance, employee development and retention across teams
III. Typical Responsibilities
Business / Customer
• Showcase Cognizant capabilities in testing services
• Work with the onsite team on new customer prospects
• Create and deliver customer presentations
• Participate in preparation of RFPs’ and RFIs’
• Participate in management discussions (Governance discussion, Management forums with customer)
Project / Process
• Facilitate coordination and collaboration across teams in different accounts and in different practice areas
• Manage and resolve queries, escalations, conflicts teams to ensure delivery as committed
• Work with the Project Managers for resourcing
• Diagnose issues and drive initiatives across teams for process improvements
• Create processes / forum to enable sharing of best practices / value addition across teams
People / Team
• Implement and anchor key HR processes for the team – performance management, promotions, normalization of the team ratings and recommendations on rewards
• Manage and motivate performance of the team through reviews, coaching and development
• Build a second line for all key roles and persons
• Mentor team members
• Manage resourcing requirements for both offshore and onsite roles
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and capture within and across teams
• Participate in organisational initiatives
• Identify and implement training requirements for the project team
IV. Qualification:
• Education: Science / Engineering Graduate / MBA
• Minimum Work Experience Required: More than 12 years |
