What we are looking for

        Complacency has no place here. You must be passionate about creating exceptional
solutions.
        Success is contagious if you have it we want to catch it.
        You have to have done this before. We need at least 5 years of software development experience. For 2 of those years you have to have lead.
        You can’t work alone. We need people who work in teams and with teams across the country and the world.
        We build web applications that are software as a service using J2EE. As a senior engineer we need you to have done this too.
        If OO, RBMDS and N-Tier actually mean something to you, then we want you to tell us more.
        We can’t be holding your hand. You have to be able to come up with your own solutions and influence others that the solution is the right way to go. At the same time it can’t be “it is my way or the highway”.
        Able to work with a high degree of independence and accountability and as a leader on a cohesive team.
        What you say and write has to be clearly understood by all.
        Engineering is hard work, and you have to be able to enjoy solving the puzzles that this line of work throws at you.
        While experience is really important we would love to know that you also went to school to learn about engineering. If you went back to school because you love it so much, that is even better.

If this description isn’t structured enough for you try this:

        5+ years of total experience in enterprise or consumer software development, including 2+ years as senior developer or team lead
        Experience in working with globally distributed teams
        A diverse background in advanced software and hardware systems with emphasis on:
        Web-based enterprise applications product management experience
        Strong experience on online marketplace, exchange and search engine
        J2EE based application development
        Have following preferred technical skills
        Object-oriented design
        RBDMS design (specifically SQL Server)
        N-tier architecture design and deployment
        Quality assurance and control
        A passion for creating exceptional solutions.
        Able to work with a high degree of independence and accountability and as a leader on a cohesive team.
        Must be able to clearly express ideas verbally and written.
        A BSCS or BSEE is required. Masters degree preferred.
