Objective
Test a scalable orderpath platform to support all business units’ needs in both domestic and international markets.

Introduction
Real’s RP/Cloud service group provides service of digital media management and delivery to any device, anybody and anywhere in the world. The store development team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented STE to help analyze and drive testing a highly available and scalable store system in global market.

1. Front and back end testing of ecomm order paths and web pages, on staging and live.  65%

3. Deployment process – Involves creating projects in ART, release meetings, the actual releasing of the project  10%
  
4. Database work including product creation, price points, SKUs, ESD, and bit release  5%

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computing related discipline

Experience Minimum:
• 4+ years experience of testing multi-tier web based application applications using multiple clients, OSs and browsers.
• Proven experience on test plan and test case authoring; bug tracking and test case management systems.
• Working knowledge of internet/web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, XML, JSP, JavaScript, CSS and Java language fundamentals.
• Client workstation setup and use (ghost, Windows OS installation and setup).
• Experience with automated test harnesses (experience with Winrunner or Loadrunner is preferred).
• Knowledge of basic Unix/Linux commands.
• Knowledge of relational database and basic SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience with 24/7 high traffic web system.
• Experience with I18N & Localization e-commerce systems.

Position Summary:

The Senior QA Engineer will contribute to the design and implementation of test strategy and test cases. Also, the candidate will execute and account for results of the tests. This includes executing and validation by using and creating test tools, scripts for complex, multi-tier system software. You should possess skills in testing and implementation of tests on C++ / PERL/SHELL written components as well as you must have experience in testing API based web applications. The candidate should have a proven history and dedication to SQA processes, particularly Agile / Scrum, testing and implementation. This is NOT a GUI software project and must be able to code test cases using C++ and PERL/SHELL.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation framework.
        - Work with development engineers to create home-grown scripts to facilitate ad-hoc testing
        - Design and implement test strategy and test cases.
        - Execute tests using automation framework and validate test results to ensure the product meeting product requirements.
        - Conduct White Box and Grey Box testing.
        - Submit, regress, and verify defects


Minimum Requirements
- 4-5 years experience in Software QA with focus on testing backend server and web applications/ system bases components. No UI or GUI testing.
- 2-3 years of implementing test cases using C++ and PERL/SHELL.
- Hands-on experience with white box and grey box testing, automation testing, and script languages such as Perl/Shell/C++.
- Strong UNIX/LINUX command-line troubleshooting background
- Proficient Test Planning and test case writing and designing.
- Strong written and verbal skills in Chinese and English are required for this position.

Preferred Job Qualifications
        - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Master preferred.
- Experience working with remote development staff and QA teams

TITLE: Software Test Engineer	DEPARTMENT: Helix Solutions

GENERAL SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Must be creative, have strong problem-solving abilities, good verbal and written communication skills, and a desire to deliver cutting-edge carrier-class technology in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The software test engineer will work closely with software developers and program managers in testing Helix media delivery software. Duties include test planning, test case design, automation test suite development, testing tool and reusable module development, existing test harness maintenance, test execution and bug reporting. Testing environment is Linux, Solaris, and Windows Server.

Qualifications include:
