5.        Language skills: fluent (written and oral) in both Mandarin Chinese and English, able to write documents, exchange email and host meetings in both languages.

Job Description:
The Amazon.com China Development team is looking for a customer-focused, technically savvy, detail-oriented, experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team. The Technical Program Manager(TPM) will drive cross-functional projects in support of business growth at Joyo.com & Amazon China.  These projects would primarily focus integrating Amazon system with Joyo.com to launch Amazon China.  The TPM will develop business requirements and functional specifications for projects with Joyo PM and dev teams. The TPM will focus on coordinating Seattle functional teams and Joyo dev team in the process of the project development phase. The TPM will interact at all levels with Amazon and Joyo groups in order to deliver projects successfully. He/She will act as co-owner of projects through development and release phases.
Amazon internal candidate should have in-depth knowledge in one functional area and willing to learn and expand their knowledge base. He/she needs to be able to actively mentor Joyo team members and help them to grow and improve.


Essential Skills:
        Description
1        Problem-solving and technical fluency: able to understand business requirements and frame these requirements in such a way that technical solutions can be developed for highest impact.  Able to work effectively with technical developers and managers to architect technical solutions to business problems.
2        Informal influence and negotiations: skilled at facilitating and influencing decisions that cut across function and resource owners at Joyo.com and at Amazon
3        Planning: develop and manage project deliverables and milestones efficiently and effectively
4        Personal leadership: provide clear and consistent vision at the program level, inspire trust, confidence, and enthusiasm
5        Excellent oral and written communications skills: can communicate confidently with Joyo and Amazon US and global teams.
6        Analytical mindset: can derive and use fact-based analysis to make decisions on programs
7        National/cultural awareness: Recognizes relevant differences in Chinese and US environments, and makes adjustments to business and operational solutions that are appropriate and relevant for the different environments.
