Context (Role Responsibility) :

Work in a research center in a well-known multinational company with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally. Help in pioneering broadband internet access to the end-user with the Worldleader of DSL technology through close collaborate with other Thomson world-wide research centers.

Job Description :

Develop and execute automated tests in order to validate the technical implementation of the Thomson gateway products
Develop and maintain an automated test environment
General

English reading/writing (Mandatory)
Good programming capability (Mandatory)
Good communication capability
Analytical and quality driven mindset
High degree of initiative and responsibility
Specific

Bachelor degree in Telecom, Computer Science or related discipline (Preference)
Experience in scripting languages: TCL (or Ruby or Python or Perl) (Preference)
Telecom testing background (Preference)
Knowledge on Linux/Unix system
Background in Ethernet and IP networking including relevant experience in a subset of the following technologies : (Preference)
Awareness of IP based technologies, network protocols such as DHCP / DNS / SNTP,  NAT/NAPT, UPnP, Firewall, etc.
Awareness of xDSL based technologies
Awareness of WAN connection protocols such as PPPoE
Awareness of Ethernet and ATM based technologies
