Whitebox QA
Purpose: Seeking a Whitebox QA to test a variety of backend components in a fast-growing global leader in location-based service.


Responsibilities:
1) As a member of the offshore Whitebox QA team in China, partivipate in the testong of the backend components powering TeleNav GPS application on cell phone
2) Improve automated regression coverage and reduce manual testing effort
3) Work closely with development team to review design documentation and participate in regular code reviews


Requirements:
1) BS or MS in computer science or related disciplines
2) BS with 2 years experience or MS with 1 year experience in software industry, with 1 year of programming experience in Java or C++
3) Familiar with SQL knowledge
4) Familiar with Unix/Linux environment
5) Familiarity with J2EE web application is preferred
6) Some testing experience is preferred
7) Motivated team player with excellent communication skills

QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
-Be responsible for the whole test from backend server to application,including white box/grey box test on sever/ components and black box test on web and client application.(Done by members in QA different groups)
-Review the requirement document (MRD,FSD) actively and make them clear and testable.
-Design test plan,test requirement and write test case based on requirement and design documentation (MRD/FSD).
-Execute test,track bug status,evaluate test result,submit test report.
-Follow company standard process,including test process,release process,bug tracking process and change control
process,etc.
-Will be responsible for onsite integration testing in US



Requirements:
-Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related majors.
-2+ years of testing experience, and experience in software development is a plus
-With passion and good communication skills, be a good team player who is responsible.
-Smart,self-motivated, a fast learner.
-Hard-working, strong ownership, willing to work under highly project pressure
-Excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
-Experience in mobile phone or GIS is a plus.




Senior Whitebox QA leader
Purpose: Seeking a strong senior Whitebox QA lead to lead the testing of a variety of backend components in a fast-growing global leader in location-based service.

Responsibilities:
1. Lead a strong offshore Whitebox QA team in China to test the backend components powering TeleNav GPS application on cell phone
2. Improve automated regression coverage and reduce manual testing effort
3. Work closely with development team to review design documentation and participate in regular code reviews
4. Make recommendations to senior engineering management on tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage

Minimum Requirements:
1. BS or MS in computer science or related disciplines
2. BS with 4+ years experience or MS with 2+ years experience in software industry with 2+ years of programming experience in Java or C++, plus 1+ years of testing-related experience
3. Proficient in SQL
4. Familiar with Unix/Linux environment
5. Familiarity with J2EE web application preferred
6. Proven experience in leading a team
7. Motivated team player with excellent communication skills
