POSITION TITLE:        Senior QA Engineer (Lead QA Engineer)

JOB SPECIFICATIONS – REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
•        Qualification:  A Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

•        Testing:
        5+ years of testing experience.
        Be familiar with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing process, Comprehensive understanding of  
test methodologies and techniques (e.g. Test coverage analysis).
        Solid experience in requirement analysis, test cases development, test execution and defect tracking,  
proficient with test management tool (e.g Mercury Quality Centre) and defect tracking systems
        Experience of test project management fundamentals including: project planning, resource management, risk  
mitigation, issues management, test instance management.
        Excellent analytical skills and troubleshooting skills

•        Automation: Excellent understanding of automation concepts. Experience in using testing automation (like  
QTP, Winrunner, LoadRunner and other test automation tools) tools would be an added advantage.

•        Technical Requirement:
        Database concept, SQL (ability to write queries, get database row counts)
        Unix (Sun Solaris) or Linux
        Java, shell script is a plus
        Financial industry Equity, Derivative, and Indices experience preferred

•        Others Requirement:
        Must be highly motivated, well organized and able to perform well in a technically complex, global  
environment
        Strong English verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and problem resolution  
skills
        Quick learner and willing to learn more
        Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
        Willing and skilled in coaching and training junior staff
        Ability to deal with changing priorities
        Flexibility with working hours to accommodate multiple timezone work environment(for example adjusting work hours to meeting with employees in US or Europe)
