Blackbox QA

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Sr. software QA Engineer to join our QA Team. You will play a key role in the testing of complex, multi-tiered distributed software applications. You will collaborate with other QA engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Software Developers…etc to:
        Analyze product requirements, identify requirement gaps, and suggest improvements on our experiences
        Create test plan & test cases, perform test execution, and report defects
        Identify project risks, recommend and take actions to minimize risks
The requirements above are must, and below are plus
        Create and maintain automation scripts
        Communicate status & issues in a timely fashion and manage escalations appropriately
        Proactively solve issues and suggest process improvements

Job requirements

        Minimum 3 years of experience testing multi-tiered and distributed J2EE internet applications
        Strong understanding of QA methodology
        Excellent problem solving skill as well as defect isolation skills
        Experience in working with metrics and delivering
        Proven experience in reviewing product requirements and designs as well as in creating test plans and other test documents
        Experience and good in understanding about XML, SOAP, Web Service is highly preferred
        Proven experience in working with any automation testing tools
        Proven experience with IBM WebSphere or other J2EE application servers is desired
        Good understanding of relational databases
        Competency in UNIX, JAVA would be a plus
        Excellent verbal and written commutation skill in English is a must
        Bachelor degree
