For our SUSE Linux platform, we are looking for a Linux developerto help maintain packages in openSUSE and SUSE Linux Enterprise. The focus willbe on maintaining scripting languages and their ecosystem (perl modules, pythonextensions, etc).

You will join a team of software specialists who work globally onan Enterprise grade Linux product, and collaborate closely with the Open Sourcecommunity.

If you are an enthusiastic Linux user and have a broad interest inscripting languages, and if you're keen on helping shape future versions of ourLinux operating system, we are looking forward to receive your application.

Requirements:

·         Proventrack record in Linux development and/or systems management

·         Fluencyin C (C++ would be nice).

·         Goodskills in bash

·         Knowledgeof Version control systems and code review, eg. git, GitHub

·         Goodoral and written communication skills.

·         Verygood English skills

Optional:

·         Experiencein bootloder development

·         Softwaretesting and test automation experience.

·         Knowledgeabout test driven development
