Job Description & Responsibilities:

This position is required to ensure the management of quality of OpenTV products. The primary responsibility of the QA Engineer is to guarantee that products shipped under OpenTV's logo adhere to the highest quality standards.

Create, update and evaluate test plans and test cases
Create, update and evaluate acceptance criteria and acceptance test cases
Test and validate the product against the test plan, test cases and acceptance test cases
Documents the results
Participate in regular scheduled meetings and take necessary action
Report weekly status to management

Desired Skills:

A Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of three (3) years of software test experience.
A thorough understanding of real-time and embedded system design, including implementation experience
Proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, Operating System such as SOLARIS, LINUX, Database such as ORACLE, SQL Server, Version Control systems such as CVS, Defect Tracking Systems such as Bugzilla.
Ability to document technical processes and systems clearly
Should be very comfortable working in a team environment, must also be disciplined and self-motivated.
Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple efforts and coordinate work assignments among multiple project activities.
Experience with iTV and PVR programming is a plus.
Good communication skills
