1. Power desinger:
- 3- 5 years experience in power supply design and testing
The candidate will work in a collaborative team environment with hardware design primes to define and document board-level power budgets and design requirements for input power circuitry and DC/DC conversion. The candidate will apply a knowledge of power state-of-the-art to design and implement robust and cost-effective solutions meeting requirements for EMI filtering, inrush, remote shutdown, protection, and sequencing. Activities will include circuit design, prototyping, simulation, schematic capture, layout review, design verification test planning and conduct, and documentation of results. He/she will work with external OEM vendors to identify, develop and qualify DC/DC converter solutions.

Expertise is required in power circuit design and development, especially DC/DC conversion for telecom applications. The candidate must possess analog hardware skills including specification of requirements, schematic design and schematic capture, development of test plans, and design verification testing. The candidate's resume must include achievements in the design of DC/DC converters including associated on-board primary-side power train circuitry. and experience with module-level DC/DC power supply design such as radio module embedded power supplies. In addition, experience with secondary side on-board power (ie. buck converters) and system power, protection, and grounding requirements and design is highly desirable. The candidate must be capable of working collaboratively with external OEM vendors to achieve solutions. The candidate should be comfortable working in a hardware development lab environment. Familiarity with The company’s CDMA products would be beneficial. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. An electrical engineering or equivalent degree is required.

2. Mechnical engineer
Qualifications - BSc Mechanical Engineering
5+ years experience developing physical designs and architectures for telecommunications products, preferably wireless basestations
-Knowledge of manufacturing materials and processes
- Knowledge of EMI containment techniques
- Strong creative and analytical capabilities
- Strong thermal analysis skills and experience using CFD tools   
Must have experience:
- Developing physical prototypes
- Performing preliminary thermal and structural analysis using FEA and CFD tools
- Developing high-level physical design concepts
- Developing of innovative thermal management solutions
- 3-D modeling of design concepts using Pro/Engineer and/or Solidworks
- Performing cabling and interconnect analysis
- Understanding customer and PLM requirements and parsing these requirements into system level requirements and documentation.
- Engaging and managing external contract design staff including schedule development, Statement of Work development, estimate analysis, ongoing schedule and deliverable management
- Designing for manufacturability, installability, repairability


3:CDMA BTS/BSC (Board) Hardware Engineer
Location: Beijing

The successful candidate will be a part of a digital hardware sustaining team responsible for design and sustaining of Nortel Networks CDMA BTS/BSC portfolio, You will work and interact with senior engineers and other organizations and customers including NPI Design, manufacturing, PLM, TAS, Vendors, Customer Account Primes and the direct customer including the support and resolution of customer and product issues and the development of new products to support the current portfolio.


Qualifications / Experience Required:
o About 3+ years development experience (design, implementation, and test) of digital hardware for products within a wireless of high speed product line
o Experience in Manufacturing and customer support
o Produce, review and approve design documentation
o Be able to interact with a large, sometimes remote, multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high quality design and seamless integration
o Have strong communications, interpersonal, and analytic skills
o Can work under pressure
o Prepared to travel
o Fluent in English

Skills and Performance Dimensions / Education::
o B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
o High speed digital design knowledge with about 3+ years experience
o Knowledge of EMC theory, containment strategies and techniques
o Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro tools
o Experience with PCP level simulation tools (Spice, SpectraQuest etc.)
o Extensive experience in the use of lab equipment such as scopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscope, etc.
o Experience with Unix and Windows 95/NT operating systems
o Experience with programmable logic design and tools would be a definite asset
o Assembly and C/C++ knowledge would be an asset
