Overall Job Purpose
•        Under moderate supervision manages test project (small / medium), its risks and dependencies
•        Mitigate risks to Business through timely, precise execution and validation of test plans
•        Mitigates / escalates issues to Test Manager or Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate
•        Work with development team to create test plans for enhancements and fixes on applications
•        SupportUAT / OAT
•        PrepareTest phaseclosurereports
•        Responsiblefor ownershipof tools strategy, administration
•        Prepare project level required metrics and reports
•        Mentor and train test team
•        Prepare / Assist in performing test estimation, test strategy
•        Prepare Phase Test Plan
•        Plan regressiontests
•        Coordinate / Prepare Test Bed/Test Data for execution
•        SupportUAT / OAT
•        PrepareRun Plan and Execution Plans
•        Responsiblefor ownershipof tools strategy
•        Confirm connectivity and readiness of test team
•        Assist Test Manager in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
•        Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed to support test automation
•        Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test reports
•        Customer and key stakeholder communication, Timely escalations and communication of risks and issues
•        Proactively identifying potential delivery related issues and arriving at mitigation plan.
•        Task Allocation and Monitoring, Co-ordinate and Manage Test Schedules
•        Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality
•        Conduct reviews and inspections of project and test deliverables and provide feedback
•        Implement creative and innovative ways of testing to meet project goals without compromising quality
•        Participates in refining testing practices and methodologies
•        Ensure reusability and capture of Metrics
•        Prepare project level required metrics and reports
•        Specializes in at least one testing area like functional/performance/security
•        Has intermediate level of knowledge specific to a industry domain like securities/insurance/credit cards/banking
•        Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with other functional groups
•        Ability to coordinate between BA’s , Business and test team
•        Manage a team of 1-3 Test Analysts
•        Assist Test Manager/ Portfolio Test Lead inresource management activities within the projects and ensure effective utilization
•        Ensure compliance to laid down organization wide process and operations guidelines.

•        Has intermediate level of knowledge specific to a industry domain like securities/insurance/credit cards/banking
•        Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with other functional groups
•        Ability to coordinate between BA’s , Business and test team

Requirement
•        5 - 10 years of experience in testing in reputed organizations
•        At least 2 years experience in managing testing projects
•        Good Understanding of Technology and Banking Industry
•        Strong experience in testing and defect management
•        Exposure to configuration and change
•        Should have of Testing processes knowledge
•        Awareness banking applications
•        Good communication Skills, Smart presentability
•        Educational Qualification: BE ( Masters in Computers or similar)
•        Certification: ISTQB/ CSTE / CSQA
