Responsibilities:[*]Work with development to determine QA requirements and test coverage and coverage with input from marketing and customer support. [*]Work with other QA teams in Beijing, US, and India to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality assurance of products [*]Deliver high quality update releases[*]Provide high level technical directions and leadership to the team [*]Input to planning timelines for both engineering and quality assurance. [*]Standardize practices and procedures based on a software development methodology [*]Drive implementation and usage of test automation [*]Effectively work across multiple functions and geographies. [*]Manage, coach and motivate team member to ensure a highly productive and efficient team[*]Responsible for staffing, budget setting and resource management
Requirements:
[*]4+ years in managing a diversified and high-performing engineering team.[*]7+ years of industrial experience with a significant portion of the experience in QA and QA management. [*]Must be experienced in software development and QA methodology and software maintenance practices [*]Excellent teamwork and leadership skills. [*]Experience in managing a large team and hierarchy. [*]Strong organizational, people management, project management and customer interaction skills. [*]Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple outstanding tasks [*]Strong communication. Fluent in English and Chinese. [*]Solid knowledge on x86 architecture as well as Windows and Linux/Unix OSes [*]Strong domain knowledge in operating systems and one of the following areas are highly desired. [*]MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
