> Unit.

> The Product Operations Manager plays a significant role in creating and
> adapting concepts and processes around OPS engineering.

> Role:
> The Product Operations Manager (POM) works with the Business Operations
> Manager and the VP of Product Management to coordinate all aspects of the
> Product Leadership Team (PLT) meetings.A PLT is a cross-discipline team
> within a business unit that is responsible for driving all necessary product

> development and operational activities of the BU. The Product Leadership
> Team
> is the primary body responsible for managing new and existing product
> development according to the Integrated Product Development (IPD) cycle for
> its product portfolio. This includes all phases of the IPD process from the

> Product Operations Manager (POM) work activities:
> Drives and coordinates all release planning and execution activities for

> Acts as an escalation point for individual project development and product

> Integrated schedule of major milestones from each functional organization.
> Measurements for monitoring progress towards each stage gate and review.
> Managing open issues list

> Meetings:
> Manage biweekly Product Leadership Team Meetings - (agenda, minutes,
> issues/actions, 2 hours duration).
> Working meeting to develop product line strategies, roadmaps, themes, and
> BU-specific processes and tools.
> Communication of status (Progress towards milestones, release criteria,
> outstanding issues).
>
> Hands-on Clarity Portfolio Database Deliverables
> Work with the engineering, product management, and project management teams
> for all aspects of Clarity.
> New project creation
> Clarity project, product line, and program maintenance
> Cost / benefit plan creation
> Resource Utilization tracking oversight (Timesheets)
> Resource Allocation training and tracking
> IPD metrics analysis, monitoring, and updating
> Allocation practices

> POM General
> PLT agenda prep / meeting facilitation
> BMT meeting contribution (coordinate PLT decisions with Director or Business

> Operations for BMT)
> POM coordination meeting
> IPD / Clarity training materials
> Engineering Excellence liaison
> Teaming site maintenance

> Required Skills and Experience:
> - excellent communication skills
> - management experience
> - understanding of the open source development model
> - strong focus on processes and integration
> - experience in working across organizational boundaries, integrating
> input and feedback from multiple stakeholders within the company.

> The Product Operations Manager reports to the Director Operations&Services,
> OPS engineering, and has a dotted line reporting to the OPS Business
