Title: Sr. Sustaining Quality Engineer, AIR

Report to: AIR QE Manager

Education/Experience:  
• Bachelors or above, Computer Science or related  
• 5+ years QE experience or equivalent industry experience  


Requirements
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.  
• 3 or more years experience in Quality Engineering.
• Windows and Mac testing experience.  
• Working experience with Internet technologies: HTML, JavaScript, AJAX.
• Experience of automating test scenarios by using different languages: C++, Java, Perl, WinRunner scripting, shell.
• Experience with Object Oriented programming and/or scripting language development
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and pinpoint issues at a very granular level.
• Strong understanding of Operating Systems fundamentals (memory management, security, performance, networking, etc.).
• Ability to achieve results with little supervision or direction.
• Ability to avoid distractions and deliver against deadlines.  
• Able to act as an advocate for both internal and external customers to ensure we successfully deliver on the requirements and expectations.
• Must be a quick learner and able to transform a simple example into a comprehensive test suite that fully exercises a defined set of functionality.
• Organized and detail-oriented personality.
• Proactive and positive attitude.
• Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proactive about working with others.
• Should be strong communicator and able to articulate ideas clearly.



Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field.
• 4 or more years of proven experience software testing. Strong passion for and commitment to software quality.
• A deep understanding of quality assurance processes and software development lifecycles
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing test cases and contributing to effective test planning, demonstrated ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to drive identification and resolution of issues to ship under tight deadlines.
• Strong technical capabilities with solid coding skills in ActionScript or another OOP language such as Java or C#.
• Solid experience in test automation.
• Ability to analyze, isolate and document complex technical issues.
• Ability to achieve results with little supervision or direction.
• Flexibility to move between tasks, ability to avoid distractions and deliver against deadlines.
• Web design experience. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, SQL and server-side scripting languages.
• Able to act as an advocate for both internal and external customers to ensure we successfully deliver on the requirements and expectations.

Ideal
• Experience of working with Mobile and Linux
• Working knowledge of Flash, Flex, ActionScript, and/or PDF technologies  
• Experience of working with agile/iterative product lifecycle
• Expertise in one or more of the following server technologies:  JSP, Cold Fusion and .Net.
