JOB DESCRIPTION - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Completes the objectives of each assignment (typically project tasks).

·         Responsible for providing for the planning, casing, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a project.

·         Reviewing, analyzing business and technical requirements, with their testability and test approaches.

·         Developing and maintaining test plans, test environment, test cases, test scripts and/or workflow usage, with limited assistance.

·         Generating test data and analyzing the performance bottleneck

·         Conducting testing using company-specific, manual or automated processes.

·         Executing test scripts/cases and communicating the results of testing.

·         Generate the test report and analyze the defects post test.

·         Diagnosing and resolving technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems or products.

·         Recommending improvements to the testing processes to create efficiencies.

·         Aid in recruiting junior quality engineers and guide them on the test techniques in their daily work

·         Sharing the domain knowledge within team.

·         Strong skill with the test design techniques, test planning, defect reporting and tracking.

·         Proven experience on testing with windows platform

·         Solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing activities within the whole lifecycle.

·         A proactive team player with the ability to work in dynamic environments;

·         Work independently, takes ownership of problems within own area of knowledge and accountable for the quality of own work;

·         Ability to work under tight deadlines with high stress tolerance;

·         Willing to work late for teleconference with overseas developers occasionally, to provide technical support over telephone to assist first and second level support, round the clock;

·         Passionate about new knowledge;

·         Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and comfortable in cross-cultural environment;

·         Highly motivated in problem solving;

·         Good spoken and written English.
