Platform Software group within SSD and/or SSG is seeking an QA engineer to support the next generation firmware and related tool products. EFI and the Framework (Tiano), information is available at www.intel.com/technology/framework. The job will pose no shortage of opportunities, challenges, learning experiences and visibility. In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
•       Hands-on writing test cases and test code.
•       Work closely with the management and development teams to drive quality through design and implementation
•       Develop test plans assuring the overall quality of the project, including functionality, security, performance and scalability
•       Lead the technicians in implementation of a routine test and a scalable, efficient test automation strategy.
•       Drive quality criteria for release.
•       Comfortable setting priorities and delivering results in a dynamic environment
•       Good customer orientation and interpersonal skills and responsiveness
•       Ability to work with little supervision.

Qualifications
•       Passion for, and commitment to, software quality
•       Excellent organizational, communication, and motivational skills.
•       A deep understanding of software development process, demonstrated proficiency in designing test plans, and ability to work effectively to create designs and to identify and manage dependencies, and drive to resolve issues and ship under tight deadlines.
•       Prior product development and in depth hands-on working knowledge of C and Python is a plus.
•       Ability to create high quality documents and presentations
•       Excellent communication and presentation skills
•       Tool QA experience is a plus
•       Network QA knowledge is a plus
•       BIOS QA experience is a plus
•       A BS degree or above in Computer Science or a related technical field.
