一、SW QA Engineering Manager, CMA Information Governance Unit
Job Responsibilities

Provides necessary definition, development and deployment of Information Governance products, e.g. SourceOne, AX and other products quality assurance strategy, addressing all phases of product development.

Maintain and drive sustaining handling efforts within global product function team. On time response to customer escalation

Directly supervises QA engineers and sustaining engineers including the preparation and delivery of staff performance evaluations and career development activities.

Manages the team and the overall expectations pertaining to setting accurate schedules, costs and resources. Ensures delivery against QA team goals and objectives, i.e. meeting commitments and coordinating overall quality assurance schedule.

Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
Implements ongoing quality improvement processes working with interdepartmental teams.

Manages the planning and execution of product testing efforts, including all associated resources to meet committed delivery dates.

Provides effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to plan.
Works with Project Managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for QA/ECAG related projects and other activities such as software deployment, customer integration, customer escalation and professional services validation.

Responsible and Accountable of flagging the timing of interdepartmental deliverables and the quality of their output.

Qualifications
BS/BA degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of software quality assurance experience, to include a minimum of 3 years in a lead role or management position.
Good written and oral English communication skills
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills a must.
Strong skills on analysis and experience with implementation and administration of Software Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria.
Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools.
Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.
Experience in C#/.Net development and testing
Experience on web/desktop applications testing with .Net,
Good understanding of CLR, ADO.Net, WCF, LINQ, Web Service
Good understanding of presentation technologies: WPF, Silverlight
Have experience in working in the distributed team environment, would be a plus
Desired skills

Description

Serve as a software developer within an offshore team that is an extension of a storage software platforms group in Massachusetts, USA.  This team is part of the group that is responsible for design, development and integration of cutting edge Storage Array Platform software.  The team develops high-availability embedded firmware in a multi-threaded microprocessor environment for storage device topology configuration and enclosure management.



You will be responsible for developing a test automation strategy to ensure the quick and early resolution of firmware defects. Assignments require collaboration with other engineering and cross functional groups, as our firmware closely interacts with multiple hardware platforms and other associated firmware.


Candidate must demonstrate strong motivation, problem solving and communication skills, and a proven record of meeting aggressive deadlines.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

·         Serve as a lead in test automation design and development

·         Build a fast and reliable infrastructure to test embedded firmware and hardware systems

·         Develop and execute test plans

·         Maintain an automated test development environment to perform nightly and release qualifications

·         Analyze test results and work with the firmware development team to resolve failures

·         Continuous improvement of test infrastructure and tests based on feedback from development team

Required Education and Experience

University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
4-7 years of industry experience in software development and testing
Strong working knowledge of technical English, including ability to freely converse and exchange written communication

Required Skills

·         Proficiency with Python or related scripting languages and C/C++

·         Practical experience in automation test design and implementation

·         Experience with contemporary Software Engineering principles in a commercial environment

·         Practical experience in Object Oriented design principles, tools and implementation

·         Strong debugging skills


Desired Skills

·         Familiarity with embedded systems, firmware development, multi-threaded software

·         Knowledge of any of the following protocols and technologies: SCSI, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS), SCSI Enclosure Services (SES), RAID and storage systems

·         Experience working directly with hardware systems and hardware development groups

·         Familiar with operating system technology, device drivers in Windows and/or Linux environments
