QA Consultant – RTM

Job responsibilities:
Review with Product Manager the product requirements to understand the project and business objectives.
Estimate the testing scope and effort; communicate with project team on the deliverable schedule.
Complete testing tasks independently including setting testing environment, executing test cases, driving defect solving, and updating project status and so on.
Execute different testing methods like front-end/back-end testing, blackbox/whitebox testing, manual/automation testing, static/dynamic testing.
Coordinate resources and effort of testing group on a project basis
Implement and maintain automation scripts using eBay's proprietary automation framework, and be responsible for automation analysis.
Proactively escalate problems, and work out best solutions.
Willing for continuous process improvements or innovation and integrate it well into daily work.
Identify project risks and take right actions to avoid the risk into issues.
Keep high standard metrics in both project execution and result

Job requirements:
3~5 years of working experience in software testing/development, as least three years experience in software testing.
Good at communication in English within a multi-national company
Possess solid understanding of both software development process and testing methodologies
Good at prioritizing assigned tasks in a multi-thread working environment
Familiar in working in popular system environment like Unix/Linux, Oracle, Windows, Internet and etc..
Experience in complex application platform with Java/C++, HTML/XML/XSL/JS, Web Services, SOA, and API
Experience with automation tools desired, especially Selenium, QTP or Silk.
Whitebox testing with JUnit will be preferred.
Bachelor degree or above majored in computer science or related disciplines
