Job Summary
The qualified individual will be part of our QA team testing a complex enterprise-level web application. The project will start from manual testing based on existing test cases, and then progress to automated testing.

Job Scope
▪ Create and update test cases and test scripts used for test automation to accelerate test asset execution
▪ Run test cases, test scripts and report test results -- provide accurate and timely indication of product state to management
▪ Test environment creation and maintenance, including installation of OS, software applications, maintenance, oversight and administration of h/w and s/w for product measurement
▪ Technical issue investigation -- when a test fails, isolate the problem and differentiate between infrastructure issue, test issue, or product issue; supply evidence of how to reproduce the issue and create a meaningful report to document the issue via defect report and tracking
Minimum Requirements ▪ Holding Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
▪ Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in developing and implementing test scripts, and test cases
▪ Effective communication, interpersonal, and planning skills
▪ Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of project team, users and vendors
▪ Must be highly motivated, well organized and able to perform well in a technically complex, global environment
▪ Strong English skills in reading and writing, passing College English Test Level 6 is a must
Preferred Skillsets:
▪ Knowledge of Mercury Quality Center tool; good command of CAST tools, i.e. Mercury Test Director, WinRunner, QTP, etc.
▪ In depth knowledge and understanding of Software Development methodologies, and lifecycle processes
▪ Understand scripting languages (PERL, SHELL, PHP, etc.). JAVA programming exposure is a plus
▪ Knowledge of CMM(I)
