1. Blackbox QA Engineer(HZ)
•        3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
•        Testing background with Web applications, iPad/iPhone, or Android applications desirable
•        Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin
•        Working knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and QA methodologies
•        Demonstrated ability to create test plans and define test cases from project requirements and design specifications
•        Ability to estimate effort for tasks, communicate, and manage adjustments
•        Energy and desire to deliver high-quality software on aggressive schedules
•        Automation/scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, Perl, or other language is desirable
•        Experience working with distributed teams

Testing background with Web applications, iPad/iPhone, or Android applications desirable

3.Sr. Whitebox QA                     
BASE in Hangzhou   
5-7 years of experience developing and testing complex software applications in C\C++ \C#
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. python, Perl, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to create test plans and define test cases from established project requirements, functional and design specifications.
Proficiency in test automation design and implementation for complex products
Working knowledge of software configuration management and version control

4.Senior Web Front-End Applications Engineer(BASE in Hangzhou )

Responsibilities:

Working closely with a very strong team of program managers, software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and many other Rovi groups, the Senior Web Development Engineer will play a key role in the design, prototype, and development of web applications for the next generation Rovi Entertainment Store products.  Additionally, the Senior Web Development Engineer will maintain existing web applications and ensure scalability and efficiency through optimization and clean design.

•        7+ years experience in object oriented programming
•        5+  years experience in web front end development, with these technologies: Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX,  JSON, ASP.NET
•        Experience of common Javascript framework such as JQuery, Prototype, Backbone, Underscore
•        Extensive experience creating cross-browser compatible, standards-compliant code.
•        Experience with building highly scalable eCommerce web
•        Strong understanding of web technologies, terminology, trends and limitations
•        Solid understanding of OOP and design
•        Flexibility and ability to work with different programming language or technologies
•        Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work as a team player
•        Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills along with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment required

5.Software Engineer- Digital Media Recognition Client
BASE in Shanghai   
3-5        years’ experience programming with C/C++ and C#
Knowledge and experience with SDK implementation for connected and disconnected device.
Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming; Proficient in object-oriented design
Experience with the use and applicability of design patternsExpert database experience using MySQL and SQLite from application code

6.Software Engineer -- Digital Media Recognition Server
BASE in Shanghai   
3-5years’ experience programming with Java, C#, and C++
Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming; Proficient in object-oriented design
Proficient understanding of web protocols like Http and network programming
Experience with the use and applicability of design patterns
Expert database experience using MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server from application code
Proficiency in generating and distributing data feeds would be a plus

7.Automation QA Engineer -- Digital Media Recognition
BASE in Shanghai   
Minimum of 3 years experience in a creation\execution of test plans for software products
Strong technical background such as programming knowledge of C/C++, C#, Java, or Visual Basic
Minimum 2 years experience with software development projects using Java
Minimum of 1 year experience testing or developing web based applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as an excellent

8.Software Engineer – Rovi Cloud Management Services: (BASE:SH)

Responsibilities:
Review and provide effort estimates on accomplishing team tasks
Decompose team tasks into specific work items to be accomplished in an iterative development period or sprint
Assess risk and priority, and balance tasks in a development period or sprint to ensure maximum team success
Design, develop, prove, and document production ready software products and solutions
Occasionally review code and unit tests of other software developers and engineers on the team
Provide product definition and high-level design support for team software products and efforts
Decompose high level business requirements into component business requirements for inclusion in short iterative development efforts or sprints
Qualifications:

Required:
3-5 years’ experience programming with Java with focus on Event Driven architectures etc
Expertise with big data and related analytics would be a plus
WebServices knowledge with an emphasis on REST paradigm is a must
Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming; Proficient in object-oriented design
Experience with the use and applicability of design patterns

9.Lead Software Engineer/Software Engineer – Rovi Cloud Gateway (BASE:SH)

Job Description
The lead software engineer will work in a dynamic environment focusing on the development and delivery of products using a Java Web Services Platform. The lead software engineer will be responsible for leading a Java development team of 3-8 engineers and will be accountable to assign all activities related to the SDLC in an iterative development environment. We are looking for professionally-confident candidates who enjoy a fast-paced, creative environment using latest development technologies to leverage their mature experience, communication, leadership, and team-work skills.

Job Responsibilities/Successful candidate profile  
A successful candidate would be someone who is a strong team player with an aspiration for excellence, multi-tasking and is able to meet goals under tight deadlines. This lead engineer will be working closely with Program Managers, Product managers and other Senior Engineering staff during various stages of PDLC. Superior communication skills written and oral are essential.  Ability to provide technical leadership to a peer-group of 3 to 8 Engineers across cross functional disciplines (development, QA etc) / teams is expected.  Will also work with production and development staff to resolve customer issues as needed

Required Skills
•        Minimum 3 to 5 (5 to 8 for lead) years experience working with Java or J2EE using either Eclipse or Net Beans development environments
•        Strong Java web development experience and thorough knowledge of web service and cloud development concepts is required.
•        Expertise in Object Oriented Programming techniques, REST, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Web Services, Design Patterns and any unit testing framework. MySQL experience is a definite plus.
•        Knowledge/experience with Agile based development methodologies  
•        Technical leadership experience
