Senior Quality Engineer (Luna) Job
Description

Project Summary and Position Overview:
The project is to develop Thomson Reuters’ RMB bond portfolio management capability on common platform for China and potentially for global markets, to meet the demands of our Fixed Income customers. It is critical to our business needs that portfolio management is built on a common platform to ensure that it can be integrated seamlessly with Eikon, and that they can be easily scaled up and replicated, so that implementation on a global basis is possible in the future.
The job requires a strong computer science background with experience in testing and quality assuance, communication skills and team work spirit.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Own quality of features end-to-end
- Create/Execute automated integrated testing scripts
- Setup & Maintain the continuous integration environment
- Responsible for the software package publication & deployment
- Be a strong contributor and participant in specification and design reviews
- Design, Write and execute test cases and test plans
- Debug and Diagnose Issues / Bugs
- Create or adapt tools and frameworks to tackle unique challenges
- Collaborate cross-discipline, cross-org with partner teams

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor or MS degree in MIS, Computer Science, or other related field

Required Skills:
- 3+ years testing work experiences in and end to end test cycle
- Require excellent testing and debugging experience in C#, WCF, WPF, XML, ASP.net, or Equivalent Technologies;
- Strong in design, and programming in C# or equivalent programming languages such as Power shell, F#;
- Familiar with MSBuild, Hudson\Jenkins, or other continuous integration tools
Understand Agile development methodologies, ability to deal with Ambiguity and fast paced release cycle
- Fluent verbal and written language skills in both Chinese and English.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Any financial and fixed income knowledge and skill is a plusDesired Skills:
- 1+ years on Portfolio Management or related finanical software products
- Professional experience / knowledge will be an advantage in financial service industry such as China FI market
- Experience in design of product(s) for price discovery, portfolio management, and analysis.
- Understanding of different analytical models used in RMB FI portfolio analysis
- Experience in leading team of analysts and develop product specifications
