Responsibility:
• Execute test case and report bugs with high quality and efficiency
• Interface with customer to escalate and resolve technique issues
• Assist with PM to ensure delivery quality
• Track and measure test results and provide a quality assessment
• Manage activities to meet delivery dates and report accurate, complete status.

职位二 高级自动化测试开发工程师
有 Perl 和 Python 的自动化测试用例开发执行经验；（基本是 90% 的开发和 10% 的执行。）
有 STAF 和 STAX 经验。STAF 必须，STAX 可选；
有好的自我管理能力，承诺完成任务；
英语读写要好，听说可以弱些，开会时客户可以有工程师帮翻译。

Experiences[Must items]
Have experiences to report bugs in English through defect report system.Have test experiences using POSIX system, various Linux flavor and UNIX, especially through console, not UI.
- Familiar with UNIX/Linux installation
- Familiar with environment variable settings/modifying in POSIX system
- Familiar with basic file/directory structures in POSIX system
Have test experiences through Windows both command line and UI.
- Windows XP / 2003
- Windows Vista / 2008 (Windows 7 / Windows 2008 R2 is also plus)
Have an experience to establish good communication in English
[Plus items]
Test experiences with scripting automation in Windows or Linux/UNIX platform
Test experiences with Storage such as NFS, iSCSI(SW, HW), SAN
Test experiences with Network such as Cisco products
I18n test experiences (not L10n test experience)
Skills/knowledge
- Can set up test environment by him/herself (refer to internal documentation in English, can research technology through web.)
- Understand test scope and strategy in timely manner
- Follow VMware core QA and G11n QA rules
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good communication skills through bug reporting including knowledge of retrieving logs and writing explicit defect description
- One or more programming knowledge, scripting is also preferred.
- Fundamental UNIX/Linux knowledge (NO UI only experience)
- Fundamental Windows knowledge including scripting, command, (PowerShell skill is plus.)
- I18n knowledge in UNIX/Linux system is preferred. (not high priority)
Familiar with VMware environment is plus. Not must.
