Job description:
1.        Commissioning, Integration, System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and Engineering support for NSN PS Core elements at customer.
2.        Completion of SGSN/FLEXI-ISN/GGSN, LIC, LIB, BG, CG and DNS NSN Site Folder Documentation and Test Logs for Commissioning and Integration as required.
3.        Jointly working with NSN Customer reps on jointly, pre-agreed System Acceptance Testing, documentation and test logs.
4.        Implementation of S/W and or H/W upgrades to equipment as required.   
5.        Interoperability Testing (IOT) and Engineering support for Customer vendors as required.
6.        Providing timely daily status reports of progress and issues to Project Management team.
Task Details:
1.        Commissioning: (SGSN/FLEXI ISN/GGSN/DNS/LIC/LIB/CG/BG at certain locations may already have been commissioned):
(1)        Pre-check will include validating interbay cabling, verifying switch settings, seating of plug in units into the backplane, verifying cabinet ground and power before turn up.  
(2)        Perform power up of SGSN/FLEXI ISN/GGSN/DNS/LIC/LIB/BG/CG.  
(3)        Verify functionality of all components and Plug In Unit’s (PIU’s). Troubleshoot and isolate any faults/alarms encountered.  
(4)        (Commissioner is responsible for completion of fault reports and submitting faulty components to NSN Hardware Services for replacement).  
(5)        Commissioner will complete commissioning of SGSN. FLEXI ISN/GGSN/DNS/ LIC/LIB/BG/CG.   
(6)        Per the guidelines defined in the NSN Site Folders.  
(7)        Commissioner will perform any H/W and S/W upgrades as directed.  
(8)        Commissioner will load the NSN provided Datafill.   
2.        Integration:
(1)        Work with NSN’s Customer Reps to bring up, establish communication with, and test the SGSN/FLEXI ISN/GGSN/DNS/ LIC/LIB/BG/CG.  external interfaces.
(2)        Troubleshoot with the customer and assist in isolating any faults/alarms encountered with these interfaces.  
(3)        Commissioner will complete integration of SGSN/FLEXI ISN/GGSN/DNS/ LIC/LIB/BG/CG.   per the guidelines outlined in the NSN Site Folders.  
3.        Systems Acceptance Testing (SAT):
(1)        Work with NSN’s Customer Rep’s to perform joint System Acceptance Testing of the SGSN/FLEXI ISN/GGSN/DNS as required to achieve Network element acceptance.  
(2)        NSN and Customer have mutually agreed on the contents of testing.  Ensure functionality of all test cases, and troubleshoot and isolate any faults encountered.
