To test new or changed software / hardware products to ensure that they meet customer needs and expectations.
Experience:
· In testing of new or changed software / hardware products;
· Design and Preparation test Plans /Unit/integration/System test plans;
· Traceability
· Automation of Test scripts using – Silktest/Winrunner/Xrunner/Empirix
· Testing Distributed applications/Client server applications based on Unix, AIX, Linux and Windows 98 /NT/2K/XP .
· Testing Experience with different databases- Oracle, SQL, Informix etc.
· Experience in testing Electronics and Software is desirable
· Quality processes- ISO/SEI CMM /Six Sigma
· Software Configuration Management
· Must be familiar with the hardware / software integration test cycle (repetitive). Automated test (hardware and software) experience necessary.
· C and C++ knowledge necessary, UML and access control knowledge would be a big plus.
