Job Description
A Senior Testing Engineer contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. A Senior Testing Engineer is skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementation of configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. A Senior Testing Engineer may have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution and may assist in the development of the team.
Key responsibilities may include:
Investigate and analyze application functional specification and Business logic specification
Developing test strategy, test plan, test cases and test result
Working in an international team and communicate with the customers
Be familiar with profiling, competitor analysis, information architecture design
Qualifications
Worked in the area of Test Scripting 2 to 3 years exp
Experience in using at least one of the following tools - QTP, Loadrunner, SilkTest and SilkPerformer, Rational Functional Tester, Rational Performance
Self motivator and fast learner
Familiar with software engineering
Ability of independent and team work with strong drive for results
Strong customer and quality focus
Good written and spoken communication skills in English
Solid skill and experience in software testing
Knowledge of software testing process
Ability to review test cases (all types of testing)
