2006/3-2006/9 FuDanKingStar Department: Financial department Position: Testing Engineer
While working in Kingstar, I took part in “DaLian Commodity Exchange” project. The project goal was to develop a new generate of exchange system. The main new function in the project is options and arbitrage besides futures exchange.
I worked as testing engineer in the project. There are thirteen people in the testing group. My task was to design test-case and execute testing. While working, because the group is chasing the deadline, so I had to master operation-knowledge without any training. Without any experience in futures, I learned to analyze requirements, find errors in design in only one month.
Then I begin to work by myself. I found over 600 bugs in 6 months. The project was in the evening that time, and I found most bugs in the testing group if we just count the only 6 months. And I coded over 8000 rows of PL/SQL scripts. The scripts were still being used after I left company. In addition, I maintained testing environment, set up testing platform, etc.
2004/7-2006/3 FuDanHorizon Department: telecom-product department Position: Tesing Engineer
While working in Horizon, I took part in “ShangHai Telecom CRM System” project. The project is to develop a enterprise system, including “foregrounding sub-system”, ”cost measuring sub-system”, “online business sub-system ”, “maintain and repair sub-system”, “resource management sub-system”, et.
As my first job, I felt lucky that I could work with so many famous companies such as IBM，SIEBEL，ORACLE，and ShangHai Telecom.
In the project, I tested most parts of the whole large system by myself. It was a pity than I didn’t count the amount of bugs that I found, but it was sure over 1000. Except for doing testing in the project, I also go to business floor in different districts to do on site testing, count operating time, answer questions put forward by operators, recorded questions and suggestions in person.
I also in charged of giving lessons to operators from different business-floor, explain how to use the system.
